Asian Youth Choir 2010 is open to singers 16-30 years old. Deadline for applications: March 28, 2010.
AYC is an international festival choir, open to choral singers coming from different countries in Asia,
including Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, China, Russia, Hongkong, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. This event was started in 1998 in Japan under the support of Niigata Prefecture. This year, the Philippines will host AYC 2010, and Koro Filipino: The Philippine Choral Guild is granted sole authority to organize and represent AYC 2010:Pilipinas during the periods from July 21 - 31, 2010, covering the Visayas and Luzon islands. Participation fee is US$200.

PHILIPPINE YOUTH CHOIR 2010
The Philippine Youth Choir is the most prestigious national choral group which is composed of the best young choral singers in the country who have passed the toughest screening. They will undergo intensive training as scholars under world class choral experts who will guide them through a 10-day concert tour of the Philippines from October 19 - 28, 2010. Be part of the premiere youth choir in the country. JOIN the Philippine Youth Choir (PYC).
Scholar Eligibility:
· 16 – 30 years old
· Must be a Filipino citizen or national
· Must apply on or before January 31, 2010
· Must pass the PYC audition with a grade of at least 85
(Audition requirement: 1 aria/art song/ kundiman and 1 song of singer’s choice)
